Rattlesnake Trail--to the Meadow and Back

Sunday, December 6 we did a relatively easy one (let's call it a walk in the park and not a hike), Rattlesnake Trail up to the meadow, perhaps 4-5 miles RT. Lots of other hikers, lots of views to see with so much burned out from the Jesusita Fire. Bad fires make good vistas, as they say. No doubt already today the trail is impassable as several stretches where merely a bit of ledge footed out from the sandy-pebbly cliff--that must all be mud after the rain.
